Early in the morning on August 10, 2024, Israeli airstrikes targeted Al-Tabeen School in eastern Gaza, used as a shelter for displaced families. The strike killed over 100 civilians, including many entire families who had sought refuge there. The devastation further strained Gaza’s already overwhelmed humanitarian resources.
